First visit to Go-Ang Pratunam, and it was a decent experience overall. The curry Chup Chai and omelette were comforting and homely, exactly the kind of unpretentious, hearty food you hope for, the portions were genuinely generous for the price. Service felt a little inattentive and the finer details could use some work, but nothing that ruined the meal. A solid spot if you're after good value and honest home-style cooking.
Had lunch here with my colleague around 12+ pm and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t too crowded. The restaurant is spacious and easy to locate. We ordered the whole roast chicken and white (poached) chicken, along with a few other dishes. The sambal squid was very nice : the squid was fresh and well-cooked. Personally, I preferred the roast chicken, though I would have liked the chilli to be spicier. Overall, it was a good dining experience and I would definitely come back again.
Like its other branches, there is a suspiciously large number of 5-star ratings. I am giving poor rating for the possible abuse of the Google Maps review system. The noodles actually tasted pretty good. Spacious and nicely decorated environment too. Service was merely putting orders on the table.
