Finally tried this highly raved taiwanese food by many. We ordered their cold sesame noodles with mini pork ball soup, braised cabbage, pork floss crepe with cheese and jumbo pork chop. Would definitely give a thumbs up for their floss crepe and jumbo pork chop. Didn't expect much for the crepe but turned out surprisingly good in terms of taste. Slight sweet and savory at the same time. The pork chop was tender and not overly fried. Kudos to the staff who told us that the braised cabbage wasn't good and suggested a swap to other dishes instead. The blanch lettuce was a good swap. Overall quite an economical place for taiwanese food
Ordered the Signature Trio Combo (braised pork rice, shredded chicken rice, and oyster mee sua). The oyster mee sua was the highlight for me - the large intestines were well-braised and flavorful, and the oysters were quite big and fresh. The shredded chicken rice had a texture similar to Singapore-style white chicken, while the braised pork rice tasted authentically Taiwanese. Portion-wise, it might be slightly too much for one person (especially for girls), but it’s perfect if you’re really hungry. Definitely worth trying if you want a bit of everything.
Small self service restaurant in basement with seating area available. Classic Taiwan dishes, though generally a little too salty or oily. Egg pancake was undercooked and oil soaked while the fried mushrooms had too much seasoning powder on it. Chili oil was delicious
