Delicious chicken rice! I ordered the roasted chicken and steamed chicken combo with half an egg for $9.30 - a very reasonable price, and it also came with soup. The staff were friendly, and despite it being peak lunch hour, there was no waiting time. Very satisfied with the experience! 😄

The Worst Chicken Rice I've Ever Had The chicken was incredibly fatty and cold To make matters worse, the rice was completely soggy, mushy, and loaded with grease instead of being fragrant and fluffy. On top of the awful food, there was no service at all. Easily the worst stall in the area. Save your money and avoid this place.

Date and time: 13 May 2026 , around 5pm, 313 somerset Ordered roasted chicken rice set from this stall at 313 somerset food court. The big framed lady staff with tudung was cold and uninterested when I was making my order. It is ridiculous how she answered in an almost silent dead tone expecting customers to hear or understand her. The male stall assistant in charge of chopping the chicken was rude and hostile. My helper bought the chicken rice set meal and since it looked good, I thought of buying another two sets. She suggested we should try the taste to see if we like it. So I went to the stall for two pairs of wooden chopsticks and plastic spoons. The male assistant saw and raised his voice loudly and shouted "EHH, HOW MANY YOU WANT TO TAKE...?!" at me, in front of another female customer. Well, the reason I took these disposable utensils was because the chicken rice shop is halal. As we also ordered pork wontons soup from yuen kee noodles, I felt that we should avoid mixing the utensils from non-halal shops with the halal ones out of respect and consideration. I mean when we return the trays and the bowls, there are also separation of halal and non halal sections too. Seeing his rude and aggressive attempts to humiliate me and draw attention, I simply walked away without even acknowledging him. Do not expect your customers to ask you or explain things to you nicely if you and your colleague are cold, disrespectful and rude to customers in the first place. Even if my dad and I were still hungry, we chose not to order again from this chicken rice stall as the chicken rice is really below average. There are better food at the food court anyway. Will avoid this shop at 313 somerset food court from now onwards.
