Samuel TanFitra chicken rice varies from stall to stall island wide. Decided to try out this one at century square food court and surprisingly it taste much better than the ones I had in sengkang square kopitiam. I'm not sure if the chicken that they prepare are all from central kitchen but it just taste different. This chicken rice set cost 6.90 though.. Abit on the high side.. But oh well.. Could be due to rental as it is located inside a mall?
defunct32One of the best Halal Chinese style chicken rice! I feel so blessed that there are two Fitras here in Tampines, one in Tampines Mall's Kopitiam and the other in Century Square's Food Market. I have tried all of their menu and my absolute favorite gotta be the classic Roasted Drumstick Chicken Rice; the meat is moist, tender and so flavourful unlike some others which I have experienced to be dry and tough (nightmare). Their noodles variety also provide another level of satisfaction for me as well especially the Chicken Noodles and Curry Noodles (go for the steamed chicken as it goes well with the curry). I do not like their porridge as it is bland, totally zero flavour, thankfully this is the only item I dislike. Their prices may be steep but it's warranted for the taste and quality! I am sure there are many chicken rice stalls out there that may offer cheaper pricing and better taste but for me Fitra is the only one. To each their own.
Imran BecksOrdered 2 sets of chicken rice drumstick but didn't see a drumstick. Only a small portion of shredded chicken which I presume is from maybe only half a drumstick. Very little rice too. And too little chilli for the chicken rice. Probably only a teaspoon of chilli that's stored in the small container which was barely half full. Small portion overall and just not worth the price I paid for these. Taste good but the shop is very stingy with the portions for the price they go for. Why so stingy?
