My recent takeaway experience today at 5pm. No queue. Ordered 3 packets of chicken rice & as for char siew, I was instructed to scoop chili from the containers placed near the cashier for the cook to mix with the sauce in container. I requested soup for the chicken rice, where i agreed additional charge of 30 cents. Interestingly the cashier a lady maybe Indonesian took out plastic bag about to scoop the soup in & I had to intervene to use a container instead, which aligned with the intended purpose of the 30-cent charge. We handed $5 note for d 30cents & she handed the changed with a torn $2 note which we highlighted to her to replace.. Total put off misled customers who supported the business. Wondering if she is the owner miserable partner but remember to ask her to add coriander leaves and dry onions in the soup if u wish to see a long face sweeps d floor
28/12/2025, around 7pm – Tampines Mall I ordered two plates of chicken rice and sat down to eat with my family. When we started eating, I realised that both portions of chicken were cold, while only the rice was warm. I brought the chicken back to the stall and informed the staff. The Indonesian lady replied that the chicken is meant to be cold and only the rice is hot, which was shocking to hear. I told her it doesn’t make sense to eat chicken rice with cold chicken, especially without informing customers beforehand. After that, one of the male staff stepped in and dumped the chicken into hot soup to try to warm it up. This felt very unprofessional and unhygienic, as the chicken was handled again after being served. There was no proper apology or sincere effort to resolve the issue. Overall, the service and food quality were very disappointing. I would not recommend this stall.
Sedap. The roasted chicken is succulent and juicy. The rice has a good texture and delicious on it's own. The servers are professionals- polite and affable . Portion just nice. The soup taste better now.
