Gabrielle TNgl was a bit skeptical for halal chicken rice but this was a 10/10, I love that each grain of rice glistens with the right amount of oil just how I like my shrimp fried rice grain texture. The chicken was tender, juicy, not tough and bony. Despite review about staff, the staff wasn’t rude though, just like any other staff I saw in this kopitiam. It was also 8pm already. Give it a try for yourself. 😄
SamwiseMy child had major food poisoning and a bad stomach flu after eating at this particular shop. She had chicken rice that had poorly undercooked chicken, with blood oozing out of the meat pieces. This kind of establishment should be banned from selling food. Very irresponsible and unprofessional of the seller to sell food under a licence. I would report to the relevant authorities if need be. Stay away from such establishments!
Gwen LimOrdered chicken rice and specifically asked for breast meat, but was given pieces full of bones instead — really disappointing. The rice was dry and lacked fragrance, and the chicken itself was bland and tasteless. Definitely not what I expected, especially for such a basic dish. Won’t be coming back.
