Li YukiThis stall is under Fish & Co., and the prices are quite high for a coffee shop setting. I ordered the fish & chips and deep-fried chicken steak. The fish in the menu photo looked like a big fillet similar to what you’d get at Fish & Co., but what I actually got were three thin, skinny strips of fish. Both dishes were extremely greasy. The fish was slightly better, after best try could finish it, but the chicken steak was so oily made we felt nauseous halfway through and couldn’t finish it. The sour cream sauce had no flavor at all..it tasted watered down. Honestly a terrible experience eating food like this. There’s not a single good stall in this kopitiam. Really disappointing!!
Eggy DreamThe batter was so thick that the flour underneath was uncooked and mushy. Fish n chips used to taste fine at $8.90 but the quality of it during my last 2 visits after the price increased to $9.30 was really disappointing. Thought that is was an one-off situation but nah.. Hoped that they didn’t thickened the batter just to make the portion looks bigger as it really doesn’t work for returning customers.
Liza SedekFor me, as a food service provider, the front staffs play a VITAL part. No matter how delish or bland your food is, they are very impactful. Was served by a female Chinese girl, who never even greets me, just facial expressions and 1, 2 word replies. Same goes for her male counterpart who passed me my food. Come on, you are not working in a funeral parlour for goodness sake. Food is so-so. Could do better. Obviously this is my last visit. 20/8 1715hrs
