cheapbreadsAlthough it's only about 5 mins walk from my home, I rarely patronize this coffee shop as it was behind those more crowded and popular shops in the nearby blocks of blocks 327 and 322. There's only 2 other Chinese stalls - usually closed early, and a drinks stall. Decided to order the Crunchy Chicken at $8.90. Wow, the portion is considered big. 2 pcs of chicken breasts, bun, coleslaws, French fries. The chicken is coated well with a slight spicy taste, I think cajun style. The chicken meat is "white" and well cooked to a good tender. The French fries is much better than those fast food restaurant. The meal was just great. Cost wise - it's comparable to most shops now but with the portion and well cooked, it was worth it. This coffee shop is usually not busy. A nice quiet place to have a simple meal.....Went back a few weeks later. This time I order the Crispy Fish. Wow...wow....not bad. Two pcs of fish that are crispy yet looks fresh inside. The coleslaw is the same and the French fries are great. At 8.90, and using CDC voucher it's a wrap...
Jasmine.COrdered 4 dishes. Tender steak isn’t tender at all but kind of rubbery. Grilled fish tasted okay. The fried chicken with pasta, chicken cutlet was good thou but the pasta was ok nothing amazing. All the sauce tasted burnt thou. Coleslaw was very watery and little portion.
