As someone who loves Indian food, I was excited to try this restaurant, and it definitely did not disappoint. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk from Tekka Centre, making it very convenient to visit. The food was outstanding. The Butter Chicken was an easy 5/5—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Briyani was equally impressive, packed with aroma and authentic flavors. I also ordered a Mango Lassi, which was the perfect companion to balance out the spiciness of the meal. One thing that made me smile was that during my visit, I seemed to be the only non-Indian customer in the restaurant. To me, that's always a good sign that the food is authentic and loved by the local community. A special shout-out to Krish for the excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and made the dining experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was my first time to visit this place and was not so sure what to order. Their staff, Jebin recommended and the portions were just nice for us. We enjoyed all the food and drink. I will come back again!

Very Disappointed with Our Dining Experience Yesterday night , my friends and I visited Erode Amman Mess for dinner, expecting to enjoy authentic South Indian food. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Firstly, the waiting time was extremely long. We had to wait a long time before our food was served, even though it was not peak dining hours. There was no proper update or explanation from the staff, which made the experience even more frustrating. Secondly, the food quality was far below our expectations. We ordered several dishes, including Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Chicken Milagu Fry, Nethili Fry, Ghee Roast, Kozhi Rasam, Masala Kalakki, Half Boil, and Plain Dosai. Sadly, most of the dishes lacked freshness, taste, and quality. The biryani was not flavorful, the fried items were not crispy, and some dishes did not seem freshly prepared. Overall, the food was not worth the price we paid. The biggest disappointment was the pricing. Our total bill came to S$70.07 for just a few dishes. We don’t mind paying premium prices if the food quality and service are excellent, but in this case, the quality did not match the price at all. It felt like we paid restaurant prices for food that did not meet even basic expectations. Customer service also needs significant improvement. The staff should be more attentive, communicate better with customers, and ensure food is served promptly and at a good standard. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on: * Reducing food waiting time. * Improving the freshness and taste of the food. * Ensuring food quality matches the price charged. * Providing better customer service and communication. We came with high expectations because of the restaurant’s reputation, but unfortunately, we left feeling disappointed. Based on today’s experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I hope future customers receive a much better experience than we did.
