It was the day of our flight to Bangkok, Thailand, and since we hadn’t had breakfast yet, we decided to eat at Encik Tan in Changi Airport Terminal 3 mainly because it was one of the few places with available seats. I ordered the Fishball Chicken Minced Meat Noodles, while my wife and Hazel ordered something else. The food was okay, nothing too special. The lemon drink wasn’t very sweet, probably because of too much ice. Overall, it was just a decent meal before our flight. The place was packed with travelers, and getting a seat was quite hard we were just lucky that someone offered theirs after finishing their meal. ✈️🍋
Today I ordered curry chicken noodles, but I was served Laksa instead. When I pointed out that it was not curry noodles, the lady chef was extremely rude. She used hand gestures telling me to go away and said she did not care about my complaint. It also seems that they are using the same broth for both Laksa and curry noodles, as well as the same chicken used for chicken rice. For me, Encik Tan is one of the worst food chains in Singapore, and this will definitely be my last time having lunch here. (Changi airport Terminal 3 Departure transit area)
Dishonest outlet in T1 SG Hawker, selling the fried fish dish totally different from the displayed photos. The flour fried fish was cooked horribly bad, without much fish meat but covered 80% with flour. Feeling short changed with the price I paid S$7.50.
