Mel SGService at counter is fast and staffs are courteous. Portion is on the small side for a big bowl. It’s enough if you are a small eater or not too hungry. Taste of the soup is bland. Sadly, the quality drop over time. I usually skip this place all the time unless my companions insist. Unfortunately, the food taste & quality doesn’t improve at all. It’s open concept so the noise of the whole basement can be annoying.
Ef SiThe store has been relocated just opposite its original site, and has undergone renovation. In terms of food quality, it is acceptable. Nevertheless, the serving portions are small. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable. About 7 to 8$ The noodles were commendable, and the flavor was acceptable. The claypot rice was underwhelming due to the limited meat, stone hard salted egg and dry texture and lack of flavor of the rice. Nonetheless, the shop is suitable for a quick bite due to its fast serving time, although the service is somewhat disappointing.
FatintinnnI was quite confused and disappointed with my experience ordering the Popiah Set Meal. The menu says it comes with coffee/teh, so I requested iced coffee, but was told only hot drinks are allowed. When I said I’d take away, the staff mentioned the set is for dine-in only. Later on, she suddenly asked if I wanted iced coffee again and tried to charge extra. It would really help if the menu clearly stated that the set only includes hot coffee/teh and is dine-in only that way, customers can understand the options better, avoid confusion and don’t waste time.
