Had the wanton mee set and was pretty astonished that my fried wanton came from a tied plastic bag that they had already prepared. Luckily it was still crunchy but not the freshest. Portions are good though. Service definitely need to be improved, i don’t know why the people who work at this outlet are kinda angsty. Overall, I wished Encik Tan look to improve this outlet, given that they’re a superb Halal option for those craving Chinese noods and curry rice.
Avianna KamysI recently visited Encik Tan on 30th April at 9.15am with my mother and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff member who attended to our order was exceptional — attentive, helpful, and efficient in serving our orders promptly. For food, I ordered the signature noodles, which I thoroughly enjoyed. My mother ordered the laksa, which was decent but felt average overall — there is room for improvement in terms of flavour and depth. A staff member on the floor was speaking at a noticeably high volume, which slightly disrupted the dining atmosphere. That staff was a Chinese lady with a short hair and she is wearing glasses. Maintaining a calm and comfortable ambience would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
M LNEA says no photo/video = no evidence. But some things even photo cannot explain and I doubt there are that many diners that will want to video staff working. So I would like to suggest that you change your ordering system to the one like McDonalds. And automated food dispenser, I think for the rice, it would not be difficult. My meal today was 4 stars, after what I saw it went to -5. But there is no negative review on Google. Also I saw a young man having difficulty understanding your sign. The sign says “Queue Here”. There is only one customer in front of him. The sign is on the left of the customer, which is where the young man is standing. He was asked to move to the right. And he was gifted with sarcasm. Hire less people, more profit, less negative reviews.
