DoraemonKitty was craving some Mee Tai Mak, so we headed to Encik Tan at Oasis. We were a little disappointed to discover this smaller location didn't offer it, unlike their other branches. But, the restaurant had a really cosy and inviting atmosphere that made up for it. Even though it's a small space, the bright lighting, clean lines, and light wood tables and chairs create a modern and welcoming feel. It's definitely a casual and functional spot, perfect for a quick meal. The light colour scheme and tiled counter add a touch of visual interest, while the neatly arranged tables contribute to a sense of orderliness. Overall, it's a clean and efficient eatery with a minimalist vibe. I decided to just have a cup of coffee while Kitty went for the fishball mincemeat noodle. She found her dish to be acceptable but not exceptional. What's interesting about this Encik Tan location is that they don't serve any curry rice. They only sell noodles. Despite the food being a bit underwhelming, the service was friendly and efficient. Overall, while the limited menu might be a drawback for some, Encik Tan at Oasis is still a charming spot with good service.

イネズI had a highly disappointing experience on August 3rd when I ordered a laksa from this establishment. The service provided by the Malay lady at the counter was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was charged S$5.50 for a bowl of laksa that contained only tau pok, a few slices of fish cake & 1/2 a hard bowl egg. When I requested laksa leaves, she raised her voice and abruptly said, "don't have." The laksa itself was oily and merely warm, not hot as expected. Additionally, the environment was very unclean, with tables left dirty and dishes unwashed. Overall, I do not recommend this place due to the poor service and unsatisfactory food quality.
