Venny JulianaThe cakes and bread displayed nicely and with clear information of name and price. This bakery quite long already in Century Square, but not my favorite to get my daily bread to. Few months back I bought the Nutella donut, but the filling quite runny and sourish. I thought maybe I got a bad day and had a bad batch. The other bread that I bought is okay. Yesterday, I pass by again and wanna give this bakery a try again. Bought the same thing, Nutella donut, old school bread with chocolate rice on top and a worm look a like bread. Again, the Nutella filling even more runny, the sour taste is still there. Or maybe that's their style of Nutella, with sour cream? The bread that look like worm have a string of hair. The old school bread with rice chocolate never fail me. The filling so thin and have bit of sourish after taste too. So I guess, if you want to get something from this bakery gotta choose carefully so not to be disappointed. Price is okay, $6 for 3 breads.
DurgashiniBought a cake from this shop. First of all, the candles that I received seemed like they were used. They gave us very badly damaged candles, one had a hole on it and another seemed very smudged. Please refer to the pictures attached. Secondly, the cake to cream ratio was totally off. There was more cream than cake. There were lots of spaces in the cake when we had cut we realised that there was plenty of empty spot. Plus the cream wasn't tasting good. The fresh cream was not smooth and had a very foamy texture and consistency. Overall, very bad quality for the money we paid. I asked the lady working there if the cake was the latest stock, she said yes multiple times. I was skeptical at first but wanted to try their cake. I am very disappointed for the cake we had tasted. Not worth for a $32++ cake.
Glenn WongValue for money in terms of the cake size to price ratio. However I do not think the quality and taste of the cakes are fantastic. For example, the lychee cake looks big and nice, but the taste is not as good as the competitors, especially when the cream tasted bitter. Like wise for the chocolate cake, the taste wasn’t that smooth and also a tad bitter.
