Anne XavierI ordered a plate of fried rice a few wks ago. The guy asked if I wanted anchovy (ikan bilis) in it. I said ok I don't mind. The food came shortly and on tasting the first spoonful of fried rice I felt I was biting a piece of hard bone and thought it cud be a small pcs of chicken bone. I took it out of my mouth and found a small anchovy which was so hard to bite. I continued to eat hoping the other anchovies would be soft but was disappointed. I complained to the staff and he agreed to replace my fried rice. As I did not have time to dine-in he agreed to pack for me. On reaching home I found the food half in quantity and anchovies all the more hardened! I wonder how many times they re-fried the anchovies and for such horrible food I was charged $6/- or more a plate. Will never recommend this eatery or go again!!
YYVery solid prata! Good fluffy kind that’s made to order, with a not overly salted fish curry too. Slightly pricey at $1.40, but it comes in a generous portion too, which makes it worthwhile 👍🏻
