Usually go to the Punggol Plaza branch, but tried the IMM one today. Food’s consistent — still good. Had their Mochi Belgian Waffles and it was pretty interesting. Chewy mochi texture + crispy waffle worked well. Not bad at all. Worth checking out if you’re at IMM. 😋
At first, I was quite excited to discover this little gem, but that excitement was slightly dampened by the fact that it’s rather far from where I live. That said, this dessert place truly stands out with its very unique offerings and creatively named desserts. We picked a few items to try. Golden Beauty was refreshing, with the lychee popping pearls livening up the entire dessert. Snow Fairy impressed with its combination of osmanthus jelly and snow fungus, which complemented each other beautifully. Loving Youth was my favourite — I swapped the soy pudding for grass jelly and thoroughly enjoyed the chewy peach gum and taro pearls. Aiyu Mango Sago had a tropical twist, with mango and sago pairing nicely with the soft, smooth aiyu. If I happen to be in IMM again, this is definitely a place I wouldn’t miss. The ladies running the shop were very friendly and helpful, making the entire buying experience a pleasant one.
The review is for waffle only : 1. Waffle does not have the raw eggy smell. Not overly sweet. Better than most waffle I tasted. 2. It costs $5 fora 3x3 squarish thin waffle with mochi, pack in oversize burger box. 3. I was lucky the waffle was made on the spot. The person in front of me got ready made waffle, like mr bean pancake. 3. Mr Bean will have to make it worth the money spent in (2). Waffle is not pancake. 4. Despite the taste, I will not try again as CP is low. 5. Staff at front desk was smiley & friendly.
