Still having the authentic Kampong feel. Drinks tend to be on the sweet side. Sort've a Malaysia feel to it. The place used to have about a fourth of the shops occupied by hawkers selling Chinese dishes. Recently though, many of those shops were taken over by Malay hawkers, to sell those same 'chinese' dishes. Is that a monument to integration, or a monument to self segregation though? Not too sure, something to think about.

I personally like this place as there are only local food with local price, amazingly enjoyable. We got roasted chicken rice, teh alia, sugar cane juice and kuay teow which were all so good.

Fabulous food and the best stalls are the ones with long queues such as the halal kway teow and Hokkien noodles and the satay! And all with the breeze from the seaside makes this dining experience totally enjoyable! And the teh tarik is amazing!
