Was in Anchorage Point looking for some grub, decide to try Deliz Street, on account on the interesting menu and the reviews. The experience though was a little mid in my opinion. They serve a mix of middle eastern and indian cuisine, but I think that they do better with the indian ones. The shawarma was ok, a little small, a little bland but generally it was fine, you can choose two sauces with it, but honestly I didn't tasted any of them. Hummus didn't really impress, it didn't have that smooth swoopable texture, think it needs some extra olive oil, kinda mild tasting too. On to the indian stuff, the chicken tikka masala is by far the best dish we've had this meal, spice level was perfect, chicken was really tender and the gravy is to die for, it had a very good balance of spices and had a very nice almost buttery texture, shame the serving was a little small and I didn't think we had enough to go with the naan and breads. The chickpea dahl again was slightly bland, but nothing wrong with it. Tandoori chicken was season very well and was quite tender. Naan was slightly disappointing, it just did not have that soft, fluffy texture that one would expect, and was sort of like a thin crust pizza base with garlic bits on top, which was kinda sad because the chicken tikka would have killed with some good naan. Overall, I think it was ok, many of the dishes we kinda underwhelming but acceptable, the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken is worth returning for, but price wise was also a bit pricey.

Deliz Street is viewed as a hidden gem in the Alexandra / Queenstown area with strong flavours, friendly service, and good value — especially if you enjoy Indian/Arabic fusion cuisine. A handful of items may be hit-or-miss depending on personal preference, but most diners seem satisfied overall. They had an offer of a discount for following their Instagram page. After placing the order, I informed them that I had followed their page, but the discount was not provided. Shwsrma is good in taste but Advice to serve in little hot condition. Overall experience is good

The staffs, the owner, they are polite n patient. Alredy a good service. on 1st June a public holiday I went with my daughter to anchorpoint feing hungry supposedly just to take away macdonald home at 9pm. However I passed by Delia, their menu n kebab attracted me. I bought their cjilrn pita. . Most importantly I love their food. 1st pita I ever love after eating many few other brands. Theirs mixed with French fries n the sauce in it.. Theirs so creative unlike others pita. Most impt, it taste so yummy n juicy n the cheese omg.... The pita is soft n meat is tender n the amt of vege in was no stingy.. Their new York cheese cake is yummy too. It's a vey pleasant fixing meal. Keep it up. Love to dine in there soon..
