Visited the place on Sunday at 8:30am. Two staff members were present: one lady who was friendly but clearly inexperienced, and a male staff member who seemed experienced but was extremely unprofessional. This review is mainly about him. He offered the worst possible service, showed no effort to help, and handled every customer with the same careless attitude. No greeting, no smile, no thank you — nothing. Just a cold, dismissive approach that makes you feel unwelcome. This is exactly the kind of service that makes you not want to return.
Food is ok, service is ok. Gave me sandwich instead of croissant but accepted as it is the same price. Supposed to be grilled mentaiko prawn but is more like salad prawn. Limited indoor seating.. But on a public holiday morning, it is pretty disturbing to see 2 young male individuals hoarding 2 4-seater sofas with a drink each. Seems like the only sofa seats around. Not as bad if they are strangers since most students nowadays did that anyway in most cafes, hogging seats, but they know each other! Then why sit separately, depriving people of seats? 1 of them was missing most of the time and after almost an hour, they probably found their conscience, place their belongings together and went off to somewhere.. I believe staff were too busy and nice to tell them off.
Ordered Deli Potato with Tuna Mayo ($7.60). Despite standing where they were preparing the food, the staff did not address that they were missing an ingredient - Bacon Bits. Only upon packing and when we asked, did they state that they had run out of it. If they had stated in advance that there were no bacon bits I would not have purchased, as it was meant to be a gift. They also made no effort to inform despite standing across while they were preparing the food. Hope the service can be improved.
