The cozy, bright ambience made it feel festive right from the start, and the staff were lovely about making the birthday girl feel extra special. We kicked things off with the smashed avocado and egg toast, which was fresh, creamy, and beautifully balanced—the avocado wasn't overly mashed, and the egg was cooked just right on top of perfectly toasted bread. It set a lovely, light tone for the rest of the meal. The grilled chicken spaghetti aglio olio was a hit at our table. The garlic and olive oil base was fragrant without being too heavy, and the grilled chicken added a smoky depth that made the whole dish feel comforting yet not too rich for breakfast. My daughter cleaned her plate! Of course, no birthday breakfast is complete without the classics, so we ordered the mac & cheese for her too—gooey, cheesy, and exactly the kind of indulgent comfort food a birthday girl deserves. Her little eyes lit up the moment it arrived. For drinks, we went with a pot of English breakfast tea, which was robust and well-brewed, the perfect companion to the savory dishes. And for the birthday girl herself, a babychino topped with marshmallows and a sprinkle of chocolate made her feel like she was having her own grown-up coffee moment. The showstopper, though, was the Eiffel Tower waffles with toppings. Beautifully presented and generously topped with fruits, sauces, and a sprinkle of festive flair, it felt like the perfect birthday centerpiece. My daughter couldn't stop smiling as she dug into it. Delifrance Tampines 1 made our little celebration feel truly special.
