Traditional Malay kueh, cakes and cookies. ✅ Bought some bites for colleagues for their tea break. 😅

Had my regular Wed class at a nearby mosque, stumbled upon this traditional kueh shop whilst commuting on a bus home ... instead of hopping onto the bus lol i stopped by as i was too overjoyed knowing THERE'S A MALAY KUEH shp right before my eyes! So glad i went in, quickly browsed what they have in store. Kak Wati, who attended to me at cashier was very friendly and polite. I asked if all the kuehs were factory or homemade by them... HAPPY to learn that the kuehs were their own ! At 3pm, i was lucky to get the LAST slice of putri salat . So soft, and not too sweet , love that the glutinous rice was moist and not hardened (as some other shops) The honeycomb Kueh is gd too. I'll be excited to drop by their store each time I knock off frm my class. (The kuehs reminded me so much of my late grandma whom would always prep trays of kueh kosui, putri salat, kueh lapis during my sch hols sleepovers) If u r anywhere nearby, give them a try ! Residing in Pungl/Sengkng for 13yrs, barely could find any halal traditional kuehs as gd as this. The taste of this deli really hits home. I was told, it's been in business for 40yrs ... 😳 👍🏻 ✨

Nice store with nice makcik (elderly female staff). Nice makmur 8.5/10. The pineapple tarts 7/10; very nice looking however the pastry taste is somewhat flat & pineapple jam neither sweet or sour. Almond cookies okay only at 7/10. The epok epok (Malay fried curry puff) is not bad; sardine fillings & potato fillings are filled. Not hallow. Can give it a try 😃
