  Tried their Chicken Mandi Rice which is a Ramadan special. It's really tasty! Basmati rice was smoky and came with a tomato gravy and salsa. Chicken meat was fragrant, tender and fall-off-the bone. If you are not a big eater, 1 portion can serve 2-3 people 😄 No comments about the usual offerings except that you should try it - it's really tasty too!

  Nearly 20 years ago, I visited Syria and I have fond memories of eating shawarma from tiny street stalls in the backstreets of Damascus. So, when I heard there was a Syrian running a shawarma still in Singapore, I added it to my must-do list for this trip. What a way to end our trip to Singapore. Great food and a wonderful human running it. Shukran, my friend. All the best!

  Delightfully delicious food for $38. Read about it this morning, went to Tampines to buy and look at this spread! Btw, the green sauce is my own freshly made pesto with basil and roasted pine nuts. Will definitely go back to Damascus Delights again.
