Decided to come back today since I liked it last Dec, despite some of the recent negative reviews. I didn't see any of the issues mentioned—place is old but it was clean and the staff were attentive. My coffee was out in 5 mins. We shared a medium Mutton Briyani (good for 3–5 people). It’s proper dum briyani, not just yellow rice, so you can really taste the spices. Plenty of tender meat and a whole egg. It is very spicy though, so I’d probably ask for less heat next time. Glad I gave it another chance, will be back when I'm in the area.
D'Cuisines (located at the SIA Sports Club on Upper Changi Road East) is a bit of a "hidden gem". Their Indian section is arguably the strongest part of the kitchen. Their Tandoor works overtime, and getting that authentic, slightly charred Tikka alongside fresh Naan is a must for anyone visiting. Since it’s tucked away in the SIA Sports Club, it has a more relaxed, spacious feel.
The food portions were really good. We ordered Indian vegetarian items, all good paneer was very fresh
