First time trying the Mee Rebus from this stall. They have another stall selling Nasi Lemak only which was quite good. The preparation was quick since they are only selling Mee Rebus. The broth is thick and decadent. Despite looking like the portion is small, it was quite filling. Made up yellow noodles, taugeh, tau kwa, some cut green chili,a boiled egg and a begedil. It was a quite a filling meal on its own. $5 for a bowl.

Very polite and helpful staff at the stall, the boy even offered to squeeze the lime for you, 5 star service! Overall, the mee rebus tasted average with lots of fermented beans thus the saltiness overpowered the whole dish. If you are not a fan of fermented beans and can take saltiness, maybe you might consider trying this stall.

This is so disappointing! Their other stall is famous for nasi lemak and I was thinking now that they are opening a mee rebus stall must be using some wonderful “secret recipe” for mee rebus. Alas the gravy is mainly just tau cheow and tastes one dimensional - salty. There are so many other ingredients that they forgot to add or did not add enough of.
