I am a frequent diner here. It's really value for money because the portion of food is generous! They have value sets that's available all days. These days when everything & everywhere is expensive, I think it's a very economical place to dine. The place is clean. A little packed and noisy during peak hours but it's ok. Service is generally fine.
My wife and I were here today (4 February 2026) for an early lunch. We thought we try the All Day Set that was offered and ordered the following: a Fried Batang Fish Soup Thick Bee Hoon with Teh; and a Dry Laksa Goreng with Kopi - and both Sets came with a Dessert Of The Day of two Banana Balls. Both mains were very good - the Fried Batang Fish was fresh and the Soup was flavourful; and the Dry Laksa Goreng was moreish through and through. The beverages as always with Curry Times were excellent, and the Banana Balls were soft and nice. Service here was very good - friendly, attentive and accommodating. The dining ambience here was very good - in air-conditioned comfort. I highly recommend the All Day Sets at Curry Times. By the way, we could not resist ordering our all-time favourite dessert snack at Curry Times/Old Chang Kee - its Black Sesame Ball. UPDATE OF 7 JUNE 2026 My wife and I were here today for some snacks and drinks. We ordered the following here today: a Curry Bun and a Teh C for my wife, and a Coconut Bun, a Black Sesame Ball and a Kopi for me. The Buns were IMO so-so only, the drinks were good, and the Black Sesame Ball was very good as always. Service here remains very good as was the dining ambience.
I ordered curry chicken, fried batan fish soup noodle and nasi lemak with Chicken wing. Curry chicken was ok and the curry taste like their curry puff. Fried batan fish soup was salty to me. Nasi Lemak with 1 Chicken Wing only and the chicken wing was salty and meat abit hard.
