The attractively displayed, oversized curry puffs immediately caught my attention. Freshly fried and still warm when served, they certainly looked promising. However, the crust was a darker tone and overly crunchy for my liking, giving the impression of being slightly over-fried. Despite their generous size, the filling didn’t quite live up to expectations. The chicken and potato weren’t as packed or substantial as anticipated, and the curry lacked both spice and depth of flavour. It came across as rather mild and understated. That said, this stall would likely appeal to those who enjoy very crunchy fried snacks more than bold, curry-forward curry puff.
We tried the otah, sardine puffs and they were fresh and flavourful. Decent portions and reasonably priced.
loveeee their mushroom puff 😭 find it very filling and unique! springroll too, it’s not oily like ock!
