Liz TangI recently visited the Crave Nasi Lemak outlet at Sun Plaza and ordered takeaway. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The waiting time was about 18 minutes, which felt quite long. The Ayam Berempah quality was poor — the skin was overly dark and the meat was quite hard. The rice was also below expectations — it was clumpy and slightly mushy in parts, lacking the usual fluffy texture and coconut fragrance that nasi lemak should have. Overall, the meal did not meet expectations. I hope the outlet can improve on both food quality and consistency.
EddyCrave is the best nasi lemak so far I tried in Singapore. Their sambal the best. Today tried their new nasi lemak tomato chicken, it was absolutely fantastic 👍🏼
Joyce ThamThe saving grace was the consistently tasty food. I will definitely not revisit for dine in. They had only 2.5 staff as the one at the cashier was of little help. I had to repeat my drinks order more than 3 times because he kept getting it wrong. The one crew preparing food and drinks had to double up in checking that the cashier got the orders correct. In the end, he decided to speak with the customers instead so as to get the order right. When the food was served, they told us that they had run out of fork and asked as to use spoon and spoon. Tables were not cleared and it was pretty warm having meals there. This was a total let down. First time being disappointed with Crave. Definitely not recommended for dine in.
