Wanted to buy nasi lemak but was informed that theres no more rice, n asked if we can wait. When I asked how long, cashier showed me that they r just preparing to cook. Who will hv the patience to wait for the rice during dinner time? Disappointed that the team didnt prepare enough to cater for dinner crowd
I was craving nasi lemak today and even made a stop at Bishan just to bring some home. There was already a long queue when I reached and only one staff was running the entire stall. It took about 10 minutes just to place my order and after that I had to wait again because he needed to clear the rest of the queue before he could start preparing mine. I can see he’s really doing his best, juggling walk-in customers, keeping up with the flow, and handling GrabFood orders all at the same time. He looked overwhelmed but still tried to serve everyone as quickly as he could. The food is good but the owner should consider having at least two staff on shift at all times. It would make the operation smoother and reduce the waiting time for everyone.
Was a bittersweet experience. It was my 4th time patronising the stall in view of Shopback's 30% off promotion recently. While no doubt I still enjoy the nasi lemak sets and their quality, one thing to take note is that there are a couple of egg shells found in the fried egg while tucking in, hence a 4 star experience. Looking forward to patronising again and hopefully it would be an improved one in future...
