I tried the Original Slider Buns – Soul Slider (Mild Spicy) at Chix Hot Chicken, and it turned out to be a really satisfying experience. The chicken patty was huge much larger than the bun, beautifully crispy on the outside and still juicy inside. Since the bun was quite small compared to the patty, it was a bit tricky to eat by hand, so I had to cut the patty first. The mild spice level was comfortable, and I’m confident I can handle a higher spice level next time. The restaurant follows a simple self-service system: place your order at the counter and pick it up when it’s ready. My order came out fairly quickly. They also offer unlimited soft-drink refills, which adds good value. Another nice option is that any Chix burger can be made meat-free for an additional $3, which is great for vegetarians. The seating layout includes tables of different sizes, with 2- and 4-seaters being the most common. There are also two high-chair tables outside, which is convenient if the indoor area is full. I visited in the evening when the place was packed, but I still managed to find a seat immediately. The space can feel a little compact, but it’s organised well enough to sit comfortably. Overall, Chix Hot Chicken offers tasty Nashville-style fried chicken, quick service, good portion sizes, and solid value for money. I’d happily come back to try a spicier version next time.

Came here 6 years ago when they served chicken pieces. Didn't really enjoy it that much honestly, but decided to come back and try their sliders after seeing their re-emergence with the new concept. Ordered the soul slider, comeback boy, and junior kids meal. Apologies didn't take a photo before eating, but from the pictures, couldn't finish the food. I understand that taste is up to each individual preference. I didn't really enjoy the sliders. I think with the sauce and slaw, it was all too much. The junior came with a mini sausage patty burger and tater tots. Again, I understand the cost of business, but for the price, definitely not worth it. Could have just went over to Abu Mubarak and got a Chicken Mandhi Rice for the same price. Atmosphere was okay, music was very loud though. Couldn't really have proper conversation. Again, food is up to each individual preference. For me, its the last time I ever comeback here again.
