Signature Set includes half of an egg, pickles and cauliflower brocoli sides. The pickles a tat too preserved, cold brocoli cauliflower came cold as well as the half eggs and lukewarm rice. Asked for a refill of rice and was told we have to use the same bowl instead of serving a new bowl. There is nothing special about the chilli sauce which is a very important condiment to go with the chicken and rice. Seems like those commercial bottled chilli. Joining the member on the spot will get us a $4 discount which is a bonus point. Definitely very different from Boon Tong Kee. Total spent $32.69 for 2 pax.
Lim Wee GuanI visited this chicken rice stall recently and had a wonderful experience. The chicken rice itself was tasty — the meat was tender and the rice was fragrant. But what really stood out was the service from Vivian. She was friendly, attentive, and very polite, making sure our order was correct and checking if we needed anything else. Her warm attitude made the whole meal much more enjoyable. Highly recommend this stall — good food and great service from Vivian!
Herman AshburnJust had our couple dinner here at this peak period, arrived around 6:45pm and there was a queue. We were attended to promptly despite a very packed atmosphere. I have to admit the food, service, and ambience were all impressive. Their signature chicken rice was delicious — fragrant rice, tender chicken, and flavourful sauces. A standout - the staff were attentive in offering refills without even needing to ask, especially the lone tall and fit male staff, probably the manager there? I complimented him and his staff before leaving, to share our wonderful experience dining there. Overall, Chicken Ka Kee is a solid pick if you’re in Woodlands and craving good chicken rice with excellent service. Highly recommended — will definitely come back again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
