Finally reopen at much cleaner food centre with air con. It may not be extraordinary dishes to some but the dishes are definitely cooked with love. The chicken rendang is delicious. It’s not the dry type nor the very wet & oily. It reminds me of home cooked food by grandmas. Though location may be far from the previous Toa Payoh, Ubi is not as bad especially if you wanna a less hassle Saturday lunch time. Outdoor & indoor seating area. Ample outdoor and indoor parking space.

In my opinion, this is one of the best, if not the best Nasi Padang in Singapore. They recently moved from Toa Payoh Lorong 1. The must order for me is the chicken rendang. The rempah is so bagus. I even ordered an additional 2nd helping after I finished. The beef rendang was equally good. Which is not what I usually do. We see ourselves coming back here again and again! And the best thing? It’s in an air conditioned coffee shop in an industrial area.

As a person who’s originally from Padang and grew up there, I can say that this Nasi Padang stall has the nearest taste of the authentic nasi padang i usually have in my hometown. No doubt, cause the owner is a 92 years old grandma from Pariaman ( i knew after i spoke to her directly). I tried beef rendang, chicken rendang terong balado, and their sambal, i can say this is the best rendang i tried in singapore so far, from the texture until the taste itself. The person is generous, the place is clean and air condioned, as well as the good service from the staff. The price is fair tho Will come back to eat in this place for sure.
