Its hard to get Japanese style curry in singapore, this hits the mark if you’re craving for Japanese style curry. For myself I had a omu Rice curry with chicken cutlet, the chicken itself was crispy and juicy, with the combination of Japanese curry it is a delectable meal and creamy omelette on top. The egg might be a-little too cooked for my taste but your mileage may vary with your tastebuds.
Tried the No. 27 beef soup at Omu Curry Rice & Donburi, and it was surprisingly light and pleasant. Even though it’s beef, there was no strong or gamey smell at all. The soup was well-balanced and comforting, perfect on a rainy day or when you need something warm. Plus, since the restaurant is Halal, it felt safe and worry-free to enjoy—highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean and tasty beef option.
I ordered around 8:30pm and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The staff at the stall seemed very grumpy and unwelcoming, which made it feel like I was inconveniencing her just by ordering food. Customer service really affects the overall experience, and I hope this can be improved as the food itself has potential.
