Ordered the Tom Yam fish noodles soup (hot annd flavourful) and fried chicken with Thai sauce (this was served cold, but still crispy) it would be best if chicken served hot … and the boxes can be better store in the kitchen or tucked away neatly somewhere.
Unfortunately their standard dropped. They served beef boat noodle with spinach (not cooked well) instead of the usual kangkong. Also there's no basil leaves & the soup aren't the same anymore! I personally queried, and they mentioned that spinach is used now.
I recently visited the Saap Saap Thai IMM outlet on 8 June 2026 at approximately 1:10 PM and had a disappointing experience with the ordering process and customer service. When I tried to order a set meal using the self-order kiosk, the system did not allow me to select the options I wanted for the set. Since I could not complete my order properly, I approached the cashier for assistance. The cashier initially told us to use the self-order kiosk instead. After we explained that the kiosk was not allowing us to choose our preferred options for the set meal, he agreed to help us place the order. However, he immediately told us to "make it fast" because he had many orders behind us. I found this comment quite surprising and unprofessional. While I understand that restaurants can get busy during lunch hours, customers should not be made to feel rushed when placing an order, especially when they are seeking assistance because the kiosk is not functioning as expected. What made the situation more confusing was that there was nobody waiting behind us at the cashier at that time. From what I observed, the kitchen staff were handling the food preparation while the cashier's responsibilities appeared to be taking orders and preparing drinks. Despite this, he seemed impatient throughout the interaction and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him by asking questions. In addition, he appeared to be unfamiliar with parts of the menu himself and seemed to have difficulty entering the order into the system. Rather than helping us understand the available options, he rushed through them and spoke in a manner that made us feel uncomfortable, as though we were expected to already know everything. The interaction felt unfriendly and lacked the level of hospitality that customers should reasonably expect. As a result, the entire ordering process became stressful and unpleasant. Unfortunately, this affected our overall dining experience, and we were unable to enjoy our meal as much as we should have because of how uncomfortable the ordering experience had been. The cashier was a male staff member who appeared to be in his mid-20s. I hope management will look into this matter and remind staff that professionalism, patience, and good customer service are important, even during busy periods. Customers should feel welcomed and assisted, not rushed or made to feel uneasy when placing an order. A more courteous and helpful approach would have made a significant difference to our experience.
