The service was quite good, especially with the speed and efficiency of the crew. I didn’t have to wait long for my burger, which took about 3 minutes to be served out. They were still cooking my Taro Pie, so they asked me to take a seat and eat whilst they cooked it. After it was done cooking an employee named Xavier served my pie to me directly without having me collect it myself. Overall it was a rather enjoyable experience.
Nice spacious Burger King, not too crowded at late dinner hour, plenty of seating. Staff are proficient and prompt. Meal was done quickly and correctly. Observed interactions with delivery pick ups and other customers, team is polite and efficient.
Got my colleagues to takeaway BK's LNY special, which apparently thought imitating Mcd's Black Pepper burger would be a runaway success. On paper its a sound decision, BK naturally does burgers better, so a black pepper double beef should be epic right? Unfortunately, it tasted more like their Rendang Burger (another burger i liked), black pepper this is not. It had a strange wok hei aftertaste too that seemed a wee bit out of place, I prefer the traditional grilled charred smokiness but not this strange artificial rendition. If black pepper is your jam, just stick to Mcd and steer clear of this Rendang burger.
