Dollie LimLocated at the 2nd floor of Plantation Plaza, this cosy cafe serves a variety of brunch favourites. Limited seats as it has a small space. Went on a weekend afternoon and it wasn't very busy but we had to wait quite a while before we could take our orders. We found our own seats and took the menu from the counter. The pasta we had was amazing. The pesto pasta packed a punch of flavours. Slightly nutty and generous amount of pesto sauce that coated every strand of spaghetti. It was a flavour explosion. The grilled chicken was commendable. The chicken breast was moist and juicy, tasted more like sous vide than grilled, yet not compromising on the smoky flavour. Price is on the higher side. Give it a try!
Hawaariy Al-HafiedThe food was splendid. And the atmosphere was calm too, as it’s a small place. Waiting time for the food was just nice. My suggestion: Visit the restaurant on a weekday. I visited at lunchtime on a weekday, and there’s no wait at all.
purple unicornA pretty average neighbourhood café with only 10 tables, much smaller than expected. The space felt a little cluttered, especially around the counter and cashier area. The cake display fridge could have been cleaner, and I noticed batter and bananas stored inside as well, perhaps due to limited storage space. I’m quite particular about cleanliness when it comes to F&B, so it did affect my overall experience. Food was decent overall. We spent about $70. The mocha wasn’t great, but everything else was good. Average, but nothing particularly memorable. Just very disturbed by the space. It definitely can be cleaner and tidier. Also, i sat by the sliding door, and kept getting bothered by it when its slides open.
