I've been a regular customer of Bread Fresh; if my memory serves me right, it was in 2011. I love their custard puff and coffee raisin bread; they're so delicious! Although the price has risen over the years, it hasn't deterred me from patronizing them. The previous staff, including a Myanmar lady, were very friendly. Over time, there have been quite a number of new faces; the recent ones, a Malay and a Chinese lady, were very polite and good. Today, there was a young, unfriendly Chinese lady. To save time, she cut the French loaf into such big pieces that can't even fit into a normal human mouth, unless the person has a mouth like the Joker (from the Batman & Robin movie). If there was a queue, I would understand, but there were only 2 customers, including me - how long does it take to cut a French loaf?! To make matters worse, she didn't even place the bread into a plastic bag and seal it; she just put everything into a carrier bag. Sometimes, when a business doesn't do well, it's not because their food isn't good, but mostly due to the attitude of their service staff.
The most disappointing waffle i’ve ever had. 0 pandan flavour, very stingy on the peanut butter. Also, waffle was soggy and floppy. There was 0 crisp on it. Only redeemable quality was that it was piping hot.
Actually no stars deserved. The waffles were so bad. Compared to Swee Heng, the fillings were so bad, meaning Swee Heng was better. But maybe it’s just this outlet at Fajar. The worker was so unprofessional and rude. Do not recommend it at all.
