Bismillah Biryani Restaurant -- this corner restaurant in Little India is a nine-time (and counting?) Michelin Bib Gourmand award winner for its excellent biryani; specifically, its dum biryani. I was here with my sister (who is a vegetarian) to enjoy its excellent vegetarian biryani (for my sister) and a chicken biryani (for me). We also shared a very good chickpea masala or channa masala. Service here was good - friendly and courteous. And the dining ambience here was nice enough and in air-conditioned comfort.

Tried the lamb shank biryani, it was a little tougher than I was expecting, but the flavours were delicious! We grabbed some samosas and chicken tikka to round out our lunch. The samosas were delicious, but the tikka was awful. The flavour was alright but it was sooo dry we couldn't eat it.

The best biryani I've had! I had the large lamb biryani, with samosas and lime juice on the side. Succulent and spicy rice with tender meat. Highly recommended for Indian food lovers.
