Had a great meal at Western Boy in Plantation Plaza. The food was delicious and nicely presented, with generous portions and great flavour. The place has a cosy and welcoming vibe, perfect for a casual meal. Definitely one of the best western food spots in the area!
I waited about 30 minutes for my dinner. Tbh it’s dinner time so I wouldn’t say that’s super long… But what really bothered me was the fairness. People in front of me got their food but even 4–5 people who ordered after me received theirs BEFORE mine. I ordered aglio olio pasta with fish fillet yet people behind me ordered burgers, chicken, or even snacks all got their food earlier…. The most frustrating part was this: I overheard a lady asking how long the wait would be before ordering. The staff mentioned about 7+ orders infront and she seemed hesitant to order. Then the staff told her something along the lines of they could serve her faster. She ended up ordering (tomato pasta + fish fillet) and NOT SURPRISE she got her food before me — even though she ordered later. At that point, it’s not about the waiting anymore but it’s about unfair queue handling… To make things worse, it started raining while I was waiting. The stall is only about a 5 mins walk from my house so by right I would have made it home dry if my order had come on time. BUT END UP I had to run home IN THE RAIN AND DRENCHED… Last thing, I noticed the take away utensils were very oily, which was quite off-putting… To be fair, the staff weren’t rude they say ps and even offered me a free mushroom soup (which I declined). But honestly that doesn’t make up for the experience… This isn’t my first time ordering here. I always liked the food it’s tasty and good value for the portion. But after this experience, I’m really disappointed. Service fairness matters more to me than food quality. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back again…
Had work nearby and decided to order from here. Waited 30 minutes for my food to arrive on my 1 hour lunch break. Food was okay but definitely not worth the wait.
