viet linhTried the wanton noodles at the kopitiam in Changi Airport T4 and was pleasantly surprised. For airport food, the quality is good and the portion is decent. Noodles were springy, wantons were tasty, and the overall flavour hit the spot. Pricing is reasonable compared to most airport options. A solid, satisfying choice if you’re looking for familiar local food before a flight.
Keith LQiu Lian Ban Mian used to be good before they expanded, but it feels like the quality has really dropped, likely due to the cooks. The only male staff was sitting right in front of the cashier, completely absorbed in his phone and looking totally unbothered. Even when I placed my order, he didn’t move and just stayed seated. The stall selling char kway teow and Hokkien mee wasn’t any better. The char kway teow was nowhere close to what you’d expect. The cashier didn’t even greet or ask for my order properly, just said ‘ah,’ which honestly caught me off guard. I would rather he ask “what you want”. I’m local which is definitely acceptable as their English isn’t ok. Also not sure why, but the place felt really warm even though it’s indoors. Was perspiring.
OrangeTaiwan brown sugar bubble tea is one of the nicer non branded bubble tea. Not overly sweet. Though pricy but at least it’s worth the calories and price since it’s quite a big cup.
