Sháshá JoêHad a really satisfying dinner at Bara Penyet today. The ayam and salmon bakar was smoky, juicy, and well-marinated, with a nice char that made it extra fragrant. Sambal had a good balance of spicy and sweet, not too overpowering but still packed with flavour. Rice was fluffy and paired perfectly with the side dishes and crunchy keropok. Portion sizes were good, presentation looked appetising, and the overall dining experience felt comforting and worth the price. Definitely a nice spot if you enjoy Indonesian-style grilled and penyet dishes.
Mr SacI came into the shop and stood in front of the lady. She saw me but continued with her work. After about five minutes, she finally looked at me and asked, “What do you want?” It’s no surprise the shop seemed quiet that weekend. The lack of courtesy and professionalism left a very poor impression. As a side note, this has nothing to do with nationality. I have many Malaysian friends and colleagues. My concern is simply about professionalism. Most malaysians would value the opportunity to have a job like yours so be grateful lady.
