Hong Lim market has an excellent Muslim store which is a must try! Most people come for the Chinese food which is known here. Char kway teow, hor fun, curry noodles, wanton mee ,etc.. But head to ground floor corner #01-57 Dapur Alishah.. one of the best Nasi Padang i have tried. Try the lemak chicken, sayur lodeh, chilli prawns , chilli fish in fact all the dishes with chilli. Friendly boss, mohd Ali , working alone cooks unforgettable dishes. A must try! Affordable price.. 6sgd gets u a fantastic meal.. Two thumbs up!

A lot of nice local food. Too spoilt for choice. One of the top 3 hawker Centers in singapore for me. Except of the stalls sold out too early. Ample parking and tables but peak hour still insanely hard to find a parking slot or table that why only come once in a while or after peak hour as a Singaporean who don't work or stay near here. After 130pm most shop will be sold out or close, choice will be reduced. However still highly recommend this place to all my visiting friends from overseas. Take a grab, come early. It's worth it!

Hong Lim Market & Food Center is quite popular at the Chinatown area. Hong Lim building is pretty old and rundown but yet still attract many people. They have nice food such as Curry Chicken Bee Hoon Mee, Fishball Noddle, Char Kway Teow, Minced Pork Mushroom Noddle, Curry Puff, Teochew Porridge and Vegetarian stalls. Level 1 is wet market and food center and level 2 is mainly food center. They are also surrounded by some convenient and fruit stalls. This location is very convenient as just beside MRT. If you are around Chinatown, can try to visit here.
