You can add that point into the review: ⭐☆☆☆☆ Very disappointed with the portion size for the price paid. I spent $29.50 on a 4-piece meal with 2 gravies, but the chicken pieces were extremely small. The 2 rib pieces were almost meatless, with very little chicken attached. The wing and drumstick were also unusually small. Looking at the meal, it felt like I was paying for bones rather than chicken. At this price point, I honestly feel I could have bought an entire spring chicken elsewhere and received much better value for money. While the taste was acceptable, the portion size did not justify the price charged. I understand that chicken sizes can vary, but receiving multiple undersized pieces in the same meal is disappointing. Arnold’s has always been known for its fried chicken, which makes this experience even more surprising. I hope the management reviews its portion control and quality standards, as customers paying close to $30 would reasonably expect better-sized chicken pieces and a more satisfying meal. Unfortunately, based on this visit, the value for money was poor.
One of my favorite fried chicken places. The chicken is tasty, and the tomato sauce is also very good. The staff were polite. I went after dinner time, so the tables were quite empty, but the cashier seemed busy with paperwork. It would be nice if someone could guide customers to a table or kindly let us know to approach the cashier. Overall, still an enjoyable visit.
I stay 10min walk away from Arnold’s Yishun outlet and I have tried many items on the menu. What I can say is that They are consistently good, value for money and absolutely delicious! The star of the show is their spring chicken. Juicy! Flavourful! And crispy! That taste that only Arnold’s can deliver. No other fast food comes close! Below is a pic of chicken tenders I ordered today, 8 pieces in total for $6.90. It’s a fair price. Also the spring chicken, oh my gosh I can’t resist! Lol! I hope Arnold’s stay at Yishun central forever, I wanna keep supporting them.
