averil chenGood hearty soups, sourdough bread and salad bowls! The beef goulash soup and chicken pineapple sandwich are my fav (had many times). It is really busy during NUS term time, but you can order in advance though the app. The staff is always helpful! We had a company lunch there this week (school holidays) and they were accommodating to our big group. Tried the bakes this time... the group enjoyed the fig earl grey cake. Chocolate cake can be more Chocolatey. The sourdough fizz drink was interesting!
CK CComfortable place to have a meal near NUS Central Library. Coffee and soups were good but the pastries tasted below average.
Bernard LeeThe drinks are on average at least $2 more expensive than coffee roaster cafe, which is a 2 minutes walk away. Unfortunately had to buy here since coffee roaster is closed on the weekend. Got an iced mocha and they don't provide straws. The chocolate sinks to the bottom so the whole time I'm just sipping on milk-flavoured ice water. It's slightly more environmentally friendly but you still use a very plastic sippy cup so how much does it really help. Is providing paper straws gonna kill you?
