Ming Shen ThamCame around 6pm on a weekday and the place wasn’t crowded, so getting a seat was easy. I ordered the fiery chicken, which tasted like the usual Astons fare — decent, predictable, nothing to complain about. They also had a special menu item, the turkey spaghetti, but honestly it was disappointing. It looked plain and tasted just like a simple bolognese, definitely not worth the $15. For something marketed as a special dish, I expected more effort and flavour. Other than that, the experience was normal, nothing particularly special or outstanding. It’s fine if you’re already familiar with Astons and just want something predictable, but the special items could use a lot more work.
