I was very disappointed with my recent visit at Andes Simei. • I ordered 2 steaks medium rare, but it was both served past medium, being close to well done. The staff brought it back to the chef, who admitted it had been cooked past medium rare. • For my parents who ordered the burger, it arrived cold, including the bun and even the core of the patty when cut. We also had to wait an excessively long time — the steak came after about 20 minutes (which was acceptable), but the burger only arrived around 35 minutes later, despite other guests who arrived after us receiving their food earlier. • During the discussion, the manager mentioned that the chef had stepped out briefly. When asked if it was for a smoke break, she quickly changed it to “an emergency call”. Given that the burger was cold throughout, it gave the impression that it may have been left sitting for some time or rushed out without proper attention. • The drinks tasted diluted, which further affected the overall experience. • Throughout the interaction, no apology was given by either the manager or staff. At times the responses were even combative, insisting the burger was “fresh” despite it clearly being cold inside. • Only a partial refund for the steak was offered, and they were unwilling to refund the rest of the meal despite multiple issues. • Upon leaving, instead of an apology or acknowledgment, there were snark remarks questioning why we didn’t raise the issues earlier, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. • Overall, the service felt disorganized and it seemed like the team might have been entirely new staff, as there was little accountability or customer care shown. Unfortunately, the combination of incorrect cooking, long waits, poor service attitude, and inadequate resolution made this a very unsatisfactory dining experience. I hope the restaurant improves its food quality control and customer service standards.
Have always been coming to this outlet for our meals however today a female staff service was so good that it made us feel exceptionally welcomed. Her name is Suriatie. She is very proactive and very welcoming.
Went to Andes as a family, there was probably only 1 service staff looking after the area and weren't giving any eye contact to see if we need any help. Didnt want to take booth seat as we saw giant big ants at the back cushion. Moved to open table and saw the knife on the table tray with the stain and residue food, called the service staff to tell their manager and they said ok and "would you like me to change the knife?" We are perplexed at the qn as we cant eat with this knife. Quite sure the manager was not informed. Food ordered 1153am and served at 1218pm, 26mins. The shake was served to us overflowing at the sides causing a mess on the table before we started. Quality of steak slightly tough though asked for medium. Overall hygiene really does not make me feel like coming back.
