Saw the shop with non-stop customers. Thought it was good since it was popular so we ordered the mee goreng kerang, lopes and roti sardin. Everything was bad. Mee goreng kerang was the driest mee kuning tossed in some kicap and that was it. So bland and very dry. Lopes looks to be a good size but the sugar syrup tasted weird (not gula melaka). The roti sardin was passable but the sardin was very little and fishy. After ordering then we realised the shop is famous for bak kut teh. But hardly anyone ordered bak kut teh while we were there. So I don’t understand what’s so nice about this shop. The only plus point was the service was fast.

Because the situation was quite crowded, I only managed to take a picture of the halal bahkuteh which went viral. Besides buying halal bahkuteh, we also tasted the wantan noodles, chicken rice, vadai and onde-onde gula melaka. The halal bahkuteh was very delicious. That is indeed the star of this stall. For the chicken rice and wantan noodles, it was only average. The vadai was soft but not with onde-onde. The onde-onde looked beautiful and big but the flour was hard. I think the onde-onde needs to be paid attention to if the flour measurement is wrong.
