the yong tau foo is pretty decent here, been here a few times at this koufu and seems the best choice is yong tau foo. soup has not much yellow bean taste and lightly flavoured. have all the normal options that normal yong tau foo stalls carry.
Decided to have a breakfast here this morning, i ordered the set c kaya butter toast that come with soft boiled egg & hot drink.. The service was fast EXCEPT the food not hygienic enough… Got chicken feathers on the egg ‼️ Kindly be more observant when u serve the customer.. I informed the bread guy, with no APOLOGY for such things to happen, he just gave me new set of egg..
Had the worst and yet the most expensive Indian Rojak there. Picked up 4-5 pieces of ingredients consisting of egg, prawn and fish cake. No cuttlefish at all! Just that and he charged me $9.80! Gee! This is absolutely outrageous! Items were not crispy and the sauce was unusual and honestly, tasted horrible! The prawn item wasn't even cut properly, all joined together! There was a little onions provided but no green chilli! I will never ever patronise that stall again! I won't give even a star! I also tried the fishball meepok. It wasn't good either! Got fish soup with rice for my wife. Indeed, there were just four relatively small pieces of fish meat! It wasn't even sufficient for a small eater like my wife. I read through a number of reviews and many customers generally have very bad experiences there pertaining to lousy food, paid high price for little food they got, very poor service and rude staffs! Certainly, the management of Koufu (SGH) should do something about it. Tried the png kueh at another time and it was really bad - thick skin and little rice in it. Don't need to try at all! Mee rebus was quite good at $3. I somehow enjoy the nasi padang over there, but I find their price super steep. Price is like MBS or high class standard. Taupaued 3 pkts of rice and it cost me $44+. Despite enjoying it and having chix drumsticks and cuttlefish as some items, I still think it is overpriced! For that, I would give 3.5 for it's palatability and no star for it's price!
