Samantha ChongPoor feedback to the Amethyst Bakery & Cake shop at 573 Woodlands Glen. The waffles i ordered was $2.60 but the filling was very minimal to little, and it was the most expensive item on the menu. Previously I had a pleasant experience ordering the shop’s waffle with peanut filling, however this time round it was handled by a chinese short curly hair auntie, and the filling was ridiculously little. I approached the auntie and showed her it, instead of understanding the customer. She went on to say add on need additional cost, which I asked how much, and she proceeded to to hesitate and threw out a random cost of 50cents, which was never stated in the menu to begin with. This clearly shows the aunties lacks ethics & morales to be honest to her customers.
Ken TanHave been buying CNY pastries from them past years as they accept CDC voucher payment. Their pineapple tarts were consistently good though other festive pastries may be more common. Great service from staff overall. Bought the regular pineapple and cheese pineapple versions this year.
LianLian TanI moved into this area recently and discovered this bakery. Cakes and bread are fresh. I’ll always stop by when doing my grocery shopping. I especially like the cute cake and fruit tarts! Price is reasonable and staff is friendly.
