Have been buying CNY pastries from them past years as they accept CDC voucher payment. Their pineapple tarts were consistently good though other festive pastries may be more common. Great service from staff overall. Bought the regular pineapple and cheese pineapple versions this year.

I moved into this area recently and discovered this bakery. Cakes and bread are fresh. I’ll always stop by when doing my grocery shopping. I especially like the cute cake and fruit tarts! Price is reasonable and staff is friendly.

I had an unpleasant experience at Amethyst Pastry and Cakes (Woodlands). I placed an order for two waffles and paid via digital payment as I did not have cash with me. After completing the transaction, I wanted to add peanut spread to my order. However, the staff refused and said that any add-ons could only be paid in cash, and they did not allow me to make another digital payment. I also asked if I could cancel the initial transaction and redo the order properly, but this was not allowed either. I understand that there may be payment policies in place, but the lack of flexibility was disappointing, especially since digital payments are very common nowadays. A more accommodating approach would have made the experience much better.
