Visited Alley Wei and had a satisfying meal overall. The highlight was definitely the beancurd, which was silky smooth and packed with flavour. It paired perfectly with the rest of the dishes. The noodles were soft and cooked just right, making them easy to enjoy with the rich broth. The chicken soup was another standout. It was comforting, flavorful, and generously loaded with vegetables, making it feel wholesome and nourishing. The only disappointment was the you tiao. It lacked the crispness and freshness that you would expect.

Is this Bean Curd or Porridge? I love the bean curd when I ate it the first time last week. I bought it today for my aunty who is recovering from flu. I was so embarrassed when I opened the container and saw the bean curd. It looked like porridge or curdled cheese. Luckily the pancakes and yu tiao are okay. I'm so disappointed. 😞

Kinda average for the high price point. The fried stuffs (red bean, scallion pancakes) are quite greasy. The beef noodles is too expensive for such a bland bowl. Only redeeming factor is the amount of vegetables you get. Cashier ain't service-oriented and inattentive, asked for normal sugar amount for my beancurd, but I got a non-sweet beancurd. Service staffs were also busy gossiping than doing their work.
